To start off with the good news, very early into the month we already hit our donation goal! Thank you very much, Novelus.
Secondly, we would once again like to recommend everyone who hasn't done so yet to read the FAQ. More specifically, the parts about the story. It offers a lot of background information that is not only convenient to know, but in some cases also needed to know. Also, for those who are still in the process of setting up their character, there are some useful tips!

Glaedor is still being held prisoner in Aedes Deum. Inside the walls he has been visited by Laenaya a few times now. Her most recent visit did not turn out well for both parties. Glaedor has tried to anger the Werewolf Queen, by focusing on her past and mother. His goal was to have her kill him so he would return again, his strength regained. He wrapped his tail around Laenaya to force her into killing him as the only option possible. The Werewolf Queen however did not let him decide when to die. She injured Glaedor so he let go of her. After she left, he was yet again alone, forced to wait until one of the leaders would visit him again.
Fiona apologized to Dhorean, and they set out to make a plan to free Glaedor from Aedes Deum. But can they find a way to set the Dragon Warrior free?
A new girl, Holly arrived and got advice from Crixus and Kara on swordfighting, after having had lessons from Dhorean himself. Around the same time, Kara came around, worried for her sister Nyna, who was still missing.
And Nyna has returned! Kara never stopped looking for her big sister and after days, weeks even, she finally found Nyna in a cave, hurt and nearly dead. Kara dragged Nyna back home, back to Aestes Ruine, where they were found by Dhorean. It will take Nyna some time to recover, both mentally as physically as she's mentally broken from all that has happened to her in the past and physically, as she had gotten into a fight with demons when she was missing.

We made the donation goal! Not just that, but we even went far over it and reached 300% for this month. We would like to give a great thanks to Novelus who made us reach the donation goal! Novelus is our top donator and will be the shopkeeper in our Donator Shop.
Please do read the description and current environment of a city before entering Role Play. Especially the current environment will give you more information about what place you will be RP'ing in and what things you can and can't do there. Do not ignore these pieces of information. It would technically be considered Godmodding.

War continued with Valatar, Leon and Oliver coming to Aestes Ruine to be met by Loras, Dhorean and Crixus. The Black God went straight for the Demi God of War. Leon picked Loras and Oliver found his opponent in Crixus. Fiona came too to help the men out but she was startled out of her hiding place by the warlock Daemon. Loras disappeared shortly after, so Leon joined Oliver's fight with Crixus. Crixus had a hard time against the two strong warriors, but he held his own quite well.
Elizabeth appeared too and took a shot at both Leon and Oliver to help out Crixus.
In the meanwhile the battle between the Black God and the Demi God continued. Valatar talked to Dhorean, in an attempt to make him see his side of the story. To see a different truth than the one told to Dhorean. The Demi did not give in however but this was not the only trick up Valatar's sleeve. For as he was keeping Dhorean occupied with his story, his shadows wrapped himself around the Demi's ankles. Then when he suddenly grabbed Dhorean, trying to touch him with Death, a dagger flew past the God. A dagger coming from none other than Hyza, the Goddess of War and Dhorean's mother. She stood there, facing Valatar. An act not every God would dare doing. Using a blessed dagger and a few Angels, she made Valatar leave, saving her son. The Angels attacked Oliver and Leon also, making them flee the city just like their Lord. After a short talk between Dhorean and Hyza, with the Goddess telling her son how proud she was of him, she left for the Upper World again, before more dark forces could return to kill her. After this the city became quiet again, peaceful even... but for how long?
A day later, Isabel and Slade could be seen running through the forest together. It seems they got over their fight. For the time being at least.
The days that followed were fairly quiet. The citizens of Aestes Ruine finally got the chance to catch their breaths and assess the injuries and damage done to the City.
It was not just catching their breath what the inhabitants were up to. A new lady, named Holly, found her way into the City. She was greeted by Eandor first, who explained her in what kind of situation she had fallen into. They have talked a few times about the War and current situation in the Lower Lands and the City. A few days later she met Dhorean. Dhorean would not be called the Demi of War for no reason as he immediatly jumped to hand Holly a sword and shield before sparring with her.
No news has come from Glaedor yet. Wether this is good or bad is yet to be seen. Now that things seemed to have settled down, the warriors of the Gods can finally start to make plans to rescue their Dragon.

For the past two weeks the war has raged over the Lower Lands, though mainly through the city of Aestes Ruine. We have seen splendid Role Play which we would like to congratulate you all with!
On another note. If your character does not have any Valatar Kills yet, make sure you level at least once to get to level two. That way, it will take much longer until your account expires.

It was time for War once more. The tensions between the two sides have risen and busted open. Resulting in the following events
Day 1
Leon came to Aestes Ruine where he was greeted by Slade . They fought a strong battle in which both of them were injured. Seeing he had no back up, Leon left.
Right after that Daemon showed up, finding his opponent to be Crixus. A fight between the archer and the warlock broke out, though with no apparent victor. However, both men got injured.
If Slade had hoped he could take some rest and tend to his injuries after Leon had left him, he was sadly mistaken. It was the Werewolf Queen who then made her appearance and continued the fight with Slade.
Maximus came too but was attacked and injured by vampire archers. A mysterious Elf lady then came and healed him.
It was then that Laenaya finally succeeded in a goal she had pursued for months. She killed Slade. Seeing this happen, Maximus jumped up to attack her. Though he would not have been a big threat for Laenaya she realized that she was in the minority and left, leaving Slade's body behind.
An argument between Crixus and Maximus then ensued, as Crixus didn't think Maximus attack had been a good move.
Elizabeth attempted to heal Slade, but to no success.
Day 2
Maximus sneaked into Aedes Deum and was welcomed by Leon. They fought and Maximus was killed when Leon chopped his head off.
Dialtas came to Aestes Ruine and was met by Dhorean. A fight between the Demi God and the Vampire Queen followed. Though neither managed to kill each other, Dialtas bit him and used her venom to darken his thoughts and cloud his mind, hoping to distract him by this for future battles.
Day 3
A new warrior, Oliver, showed up at Aedes Deum. He seemed to have strange, shadow like powers and was met by Valatar himself. After having approved him, Valatar promised Oliver better and stronger powers if he could show his worth.
Upon this he went to Aestes Ruine and fought Eandor, both hurt, proving to be a tough opponent for the Demi God. They seemed somewhat equal in their sword fighting though neither of them fully won the battle.
Loras was there too but was confronted Vaendra, Dhorean's lover who had abandoned the Demi God a few days previous. Vaendra shot fire at Loras, trying to keep him from joining the fight with Oliver and Eandor. Yet with a long distance between them, both fighters had trouble hitting each other, Loras' wing was injured and he left.
Vaendra went to join Oliver and Eandor but was stopped by Fynn. He made a jump for the Half Demon who then burned him in the face. Prysm came just in time and had Vaendra backing away and retreat into the woods. Prysm then joined Eandor to make Oliver leave as well.
Day 4 and 5
Spent in peace with time for people to rest.
Day 6
Kharas came, he tried to burst to the wall and set a building on fire to draw attention. Xanthe came and talked to him. Not much happened and Kharas then left.
Iris came and put out the fire, then attacked by Leon. The young woman shot Leon a few times, but the vampire then used these minor injuries to pull out his blood attack. They fought for a little while and for the first time, Iris made Leon leave, having drained him from his blood energy. He did stab her shoulder with a blood spear but he had to retreat soon after, leaving Iris with just this one real injury.
Day 7
Daemon fought Glaedor. To draw his attention, Daemon shot some fireballs at a small group of citizens. This action infuriated Glaedor, who immediatly charged at the warlock with his mighty Dragon fire. They had a short but heated battle. The Dragon's fire was clearly stronger and at one point it almost looked like Glaedor was going to kill Daemon. But then Daemon shot a fireball at a small group of children playing outside. Glaedor saved the children and Daemon escaped.
Analiese returned to Aestes Ruine and met up with her old friend, Glaedor, showing him her new ability to create fire. Although it was still an ability under development.
On the Later days
Diarose met Leon in Aedes Deum, she mentioned that Anaita had somewhat lost it after the death of her husband and that she was now chained up in a temple.
Slade returned after his body had been taken by Isabel. They argued over their usual troubles.
A few days later, Kharas, Novelus and Lowell turned up in Aestes Ruine. Xanthe once more confronted Kharas, but this time their conversation went less peaceful. She seemed mad at Kharas for having violated her trust. He then offered her his sword, so she could kill him with it if she felt like it. Instead, the Goddess stabbed him in the shoulder, after which all fights broke out.
Novelus met his opponent in Prysm. The strong vampire quickly got the upper hand in the battle, but Prysm did not back down soon. At one point, Novelus dug his fangs deep into Prysm's leg when she tried to kick him. He ripped her flesh and bit deep into her leg, biting through muscle and bone. He then left soon after, leaving Prysm heavily injured. She collapsed in the street, to be found later by Fynn, who took her inside.
Kharas faced Glaedor even though Xanthe released her powers upon the Demon king, clouding his mind to distract him. Glaedor used this opportunity to get the upper hand in this battle.
Kharas got in trouble. It being hard to focus combined with a strong warrior fighting him proved a dangerous combination. When he got knocked out, Valatar came and took Kharas and Glaedor back to Aedes Deum.
Next Day
Fiona found out her Dragon was missing and got upset, fearing what would be happening to Glaedor. She wanted revenge on the one who took him and the one who fought him. Valatar and Kharas. Though it would prove troublesome, seeing as they were the strongest of the dark beings.
Nyna's sister Kara showed up and told others that Nyna had gone missing. Her past had been haunting her, and the more recent events of being tracked down by knights of her former kingdom, being told her father had been killed and seeing Prysm die had not helped.
A difficult choice remains for the goodies. Who should they go after? And do they even have the strength left to go after anyone after the recent battles?

A new month has started which means it is time to look back at the last month in the News Scrolls! Firstly we would like to welcome all the new people! It's good to have you here and we hope you will have a great time on the realm!
Secondly, I would like to thank all the people who Donated, Vesper, Prysm, Novelus and Crixus. Out of them, Crixus was the top donator this month, so he will receive 75 gems and will be the shopkeeper in the Donator Shop in Aedes Deum (where everyone can get fancy stuff as long as the donation goal is met!). The others get 30 gems and a hug!
On another note, please do be careful with giving personal information, like names or email addresses to people you don't know. The online world can be a great place to make friends, but don't be too careless with what you tell to who. It is your own responsibility.

Joshua got a little too friendly towards Iris the other day and Crixus didn't quite trust it either. Crixus and Joshua soon got into an argument, though it did not escalate too far. Joshua left the City telling Crixus and Iris that they would see him again, but not at the same side.
Many new faces could be seen in the Ruined City lately, which seems to have calmed a little after the events of the first half of the month.
Rikke, a new vampire made her way in, although she seems to favor staying in the shadows to observe over involving herself with the citizens. Dhorean offered her the opportunity to join the army, on the condition that she would not feed from humans, which she refused. Later, Prysm managed to get Rikke to open up a little and even to take her mask off.
Another newling is Loras, part angel part demon, although his intentions seem unclear.
Along with the other new ones came Maximus, who seems to have trouble remembering his past. He seems friendly towards his fellow villagers, but does not easily trust them.
Xedeth too came, accompanied by his wolf friend Azasara. He quickly befriended Nyna who then started to look after him.
A new face that attracted more attention was the vampire Xanthiel, with his odd appearance and behavior he quickly managed to grab the attention of others around him. However if it is in a positive way is yet to be seen. He argued with Slade, as both men seem to dislike each other for their race.
A few days later he met Iris and Crixus, though he was in a completely different state, much more friendly. The three of them talked and all seemed fine. But not for long! Suddenly Xanthiel's personality changed when he was out of their view a moment and he came rushing back agressively and dangerously to the, now three of them as Madeline was also up and about. Iris managed to calm him down using not force, but voice and the tension soon came to an end. Crixus gave him some rabbits to eat, but if that would keep the other side of him calm is yet to be seen.
Dhorean seems in trouble! The girl he seems to fancy, Vaendra, decided to return to Aedes Deum to rejoin the forces of the Dark, leaving Dhorean behind. Fiona Kelly tried to comfort him a little, although it didn't fell right with Dhorean when she told him to move on only an hour after it happened.
On the last day of the month, Laenaya and Glaedor collided deep within the Passing Woods. The battle was quite intense and both parties dealt blows to eachother, both physically and mentally. Fortunatly no one died but the tension was felt and set once more.

The War!

It has been decided by the facebook poll that the war will take place on Wednesday! Pull out the weapons and prepare the armor, as the two armies will meet each other in battle that day. The most likely location will be Aestes Ruine, but as the Role Play is up to you, anything can change over that day and the following days over which the war will stretch.
Now to go over a few more things that need to be noted.
First off, make sure not to godmod. Not sure what falls under godmodding and what doesn't? Have a look at the FAQ! In the end it is the Staff's call as to what is classified as godmodding and what is not.
Second, before killing someone please do ask oocly for permission to kill the character. It is not as much as a rule as having some respect for your fellow players. If someone doesn't want to have their character killed, try and figure out a way out of it. However, do keep in mind that you cannot throw your character into any random situation and expect to make it out alive. That we ask people to contact another before a kill first does not mean that a kill can always be avoided.
No ooc is allowed, if you suddenly have to leave, send people a hawk letter, don't post it in chat.
Now we went over that, enjoy yourself, and show us some great RP!
