So you want to know more about Pandora's staff? Then you came to the right place! Here you will find the staff bio's written by Pandora's staff members. And..for the lazy reader, a brief description of what you need to know.
Pandorarpg is owned by Rose and Iris, who are aided by various other (greatly appreciated!) staffers. It is their first time in owning a site, but they both have much experience in staffing as well as playing on LoGDs.
I am Rose, one of the co-owners of Pandora and the one responsible for most of the available templates and banners. I do some easy minor coding (aka editing >.>) occasionally, when it is asked for. And besides that I am the ‘head of the story’. The characters of the Gods and their stories were mostly mine.
As owner I have multiple jobs on Pandora, the ones that need to be done, and the ones that I like to do. I prefer to be involved with my realm. So I always read the chats back, and make sure I know what is going on. People always come to me if they have questions about anything.
In Real Life, I am a Psychology student at University, living in Holland/The Netherlands. It is a small country in Europe. No it is not Denmark. It isn’t a part of Scandinavia either. It lays to the west of Germany and the north of Belgium. That, is all you need to know ;)
I started playing LoGD about six years ago at EragonLive. After that I moved to Edocsil and played on many other realms under many different names. I staffed on a few of them and spent my longest time (staff wise) on Megiddo.
As staff, I usually stay nice to my players. Most of them aren’t always aware of the fact that they are breaking a rule. A simple reminder or warning is enough. Yet when a player truly crosses the line, there is no way back.
My RP style differs with the character I play. My current one – let’s assume I don’t have alts now, shall we ;) – is Rose. Rose is The Oracle. She is blessed with the gift (or curse) of being able to see. She can see past and present and has been able to do so for multiple centuries. The ability was given to her by the Gods not long after Valatar was released. Coincidence? Who knows.
I am Iris, one of the two owners of Pandora. It is my job to watch over the site and to make sure everything goes the way it should go. I read the chats back and I'm very involved.
I am also the head of coloring, or to give it a title, the Colour Queen of Pandora. I color every bit of text thrown at me and I color very fast too. It is something I love doing.
As a staffer, I am also the one to always greet new players and to help them whenever I can to get them started.
In real life, I live in the Netherlands, a small country in Europe.
I started playing LoGDs on Megiddo, which is where I spent the most time of playing and also staffing. I've also been on FinalFantasy for a short while.
My rp character is Iris. She's a human, trying to follow in her Brother's footsteps and also to avenge his death by helping opening up the Gates to the Underworld. She can handle swords and also a bow.
Hi there! I am Novelus, and I am the Realm Admin of Sorts/Coder to Pandora. I have played on many LotGDs over the years, and I've staffed on quite a few of them. My staffing style is usually very laid back. The only things I don't tolerate is godmodding without cause, and disrespect to staff members and players. These realms were created so that players could come and have fun and relax. That is what we do here on Pandora. We try to make sure you have the most amount of fun possible. :) Anyways. To my jobs on Pandora. I offer assistance to the owners whenever they have a question about the realm, or about players. My roleplay style... Well, I can tell you that none of my characters have ever liked bows and arrows. Always got shot. Yes, I'm about to make a reference to something funny. -.- My first character I ever played on an LotGD, on his first day... took An Arrow to the Knee. Yes. Yes he did. First day. It was rather funny. Go ahead and laugh, people. It is alright. If you wish to know more, send me a Hawk Letter!
I’m Rhyah, 18 years old and also Dutch. I’m kind of new to all the staffing stuff. I was staff before on another site but that was never really active. So I never had to do something. I hope that I can show myself here that I can be a really good staffer.
Because I could never truly show myself, I honestly don’t have a staffing style or maybe I have but then I don’t know what it is….. I’m a typical silent staff member who doesn't always show herself in the front, but most of the times full of good ideas.
That’s just who I am. I’m genuinely trying to improve that so that I will be more in the front and sharing my ideas. My job on Pandora is moderator. I check all the chats to see if people are following the rules if not to give a warning or punish them.
My rp character is Rhyah. The first born of Kharas. She’s dark, demonic and evil.
~*Old Staff*~
I amJharah, I have worked just about every non-coding position there is on various LotGD's. I have been an Owner on more than one occasion, Junior Moderator, Moderator, Senior Moderator, Junior Administrator, Administrator, Senior Administrator and Head of Staff. A lot of the sites I first started out with owning or being in a high level position in were closed due to financial problems or the owner wanting a different project. I did at one time co-own MegiddoRPG and TheFallenRPG which are more recent websites that some may remember. Do to clashing with the other co owner(s) I decided it was time for me to move on. A site where I have done a lot of staffing work and still enjoy immensely is Tynastera, and I was staff there at the time Pandora was being created. My time for gaming is a bit unstable as RL is hectic for me, but I try to pop on when I can, and apparently that's often enough for Rose and Iris. :P I'm 'the other' American on the Staff list. I live in the boondocks of the south, and am a Junior in highschool at the moment. I have been playing LotGD's since I was about 11/12, and the first one I ever played was the (now long-closed) EragonLive. After working for a large site like Tynastera and not having enough time out of my day to do all the duties expected of me, I looked around for a low-key, smaller site offer where I could still be involved, but with a lower rank on the staff list and with less time expected out of my day. Having worked with Rose, Iris, and Novelus (all of them actually worked under me for awhile. It's strange, but not unpleasant not being the boss lady anymore. Being an Owner is a LOT more stressful than most people - staff or players - assume it is) before, and having been somewhat involved with Pandora during its creation, I went to them first. And.. here I am. As a staffer, I like to think I'm pretty fair. My RP character, I am Jharah.. well.. xD if you want to know about her, go read her lengthy bio.
